The Spot Media & Film – Henning Molfenter founds Babelsberg Production Group

After leaving Studio Babelsberg Motion Pictures GmbH at the end of the year, Henning Molfenter plans to operate as a service or co-producer for international film and TV productions with his newly founded company, Babelsberg Production Group.
Henning Molfenter, who will leave Studio Babelsberg Motion Pictures GmbH at the end of the year after more than 20 years when his contract expires, remains loyal to the Babelsberg location and is founding the Babelsberg Production Group there. According to a statement, the company aims to act as a service or co-producer for international film and TV projects produced in Germany or Europe.
Henning Molfenter: “We will establish Babelsberg Production Group as the go-to address for producers who want to carry out their projects in Germany and Europe. This will continue the work as a service and co-producer that we began in Babelsberg 20 years ago.”
